Do Practice Interviews Online
with InterviewStream

InterviewStream allows you to do practice interviews through your own computer, at your convenience! All you need is a Webcam. (See below if you don't have one.) To access it, go to this InterviewStream page, then create an account by using your U of M e-mail address.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The InterviewStream link provided above is only for College of Liberal Arts students and alumni. If you go to InterviewStream through this link and you are not from CLA, your interview may not work and will not be viewed.

For guidance about doing a successful interview, check out InterviewStream's in-depth tutorials, or browse our Guide to Effective Interviewing section.

Why Should I Use InterviewStream?
  • If you plan to interview for a job, an internship, or a grad school program, you need to prepare and practice in advance. InterviewStream lets you practice as much as you want, whenever you want.
  • You can choose whatever interview questions you want to be asked. There are hundreds to choose from.
  • You can save your interview to view it later.
  • You can send people a link to your interview, if you want to get feedback from friends or family.
  • It's easy, convenient, and free!

What if I Don't Have a Webcam on My Computer?
  • You can use a laptop in the Career and Community Learning Center office. These are available on a limited basis, so call in advance and we'll schedule a time for you to use one in our 135 Johnston Hall office. (612-624-7577)
  • Borrow a friend's computer if you can!
