The College of Liberal Arts offers $1,200 grants to select CLA undergrads doing unpaid internships. Apply for one if you have an internship THIS SUMMER. Find details and application instructions at the CLA Grant site, or contact our 135 Johnston Hall office.

4. JOIN THE SCHOLARS PROGRAM
Did you know you can get credit for volunteering? When you join the Community Engagment Scholars Program, you'll get credit and formal U of M recognition for your community service. You'll choose your own volunteer projects and service-learning classes. Learn about the program at www.servicelearning.umn.edu/cesp, or by signing up for a program Info Session here.

5. ID 1201: MAJOR AND CAREER EXPLORATION
Get help choosing a major or exploring the one you've got. This class will teach you how to assess your interests, and the basics of career planning.
6. ID 3201: CAREER PLANNING
This class will teach you sophisticated career-search strategies like marketplace research, resume writing, networking and interviewing.
