1. PRE-LAW ADVISING OPTIONS THIS SUMMER

The U of M's Pre-Law Advisor (based in the Career and Community Learning Center) will be on leave this July through September. Students who need to meet with the pre-law advisor are encouraged to schedule a JUNE appointment. To do so, contact our 135 Johnston Hall office at 612-624-7577. (Get more from your advising appointment by reading this page.) Before you make an appointment, check out our pre-law advising Web pages here. Many questions are easily answered there.

2. GOLDPASS NOTICE: Reactivate Accounts in July
********************************************************
This is a notice to all student/alumni users of the U of M GoldPASS site: When you log in after July 1, you must read and sign off on the GoldPASS User Agreement (an annual requirement). Your GoldPASS account will not be available to you until you do.

Please note that this is also a good time to update your GoldPASS PROFILE. Never let your profile fall out of date. It's the main way the GoldPASS system determines which students and alumni are qualified to apply for posted positions. It also allows organizations to contact you about their opportunities, if you've authorized that contact. Please also take the time to report any position offers you've received (through GoldPASS applications). This is easy to do through the 'Report a Hire' link.

CLA INTERNSHIP GRANTS

The College of Liberal Arts offers $1,200 grants to select CLA undergrads doing unpaid internships. Apply for one if you have an internship THIS SUMMER. See details and application instructions here, or contact our 135 Johnston Hall office at 612-624-7577, or cclc at class.cla.umn.edu
